Old Mother Hubbard went to the cupboard,

To fetch her poor dog a bone.

But when she got there the cupboard was bare,
可是她發(fā)現(xiàn)櫥柜里什么也沒(méi)有，
And so the poor dog had none.
可憐的狗狗沒(méi)東西吃了。
She went to the fishmonger's to buy him some fish,
她到魚(yú)販子那兒給他買點(diǎn)魚(yú)，
But when she came back he was licking the dish.
可是回到家她發(fā)現(xiàn)狗狗正在舔盤子。
She went to the grocer's to buy him some fruit,
她到雜貨店那兒給他買些水果，
But when she came back he was playing the flute!
可是回到家她發(fā)現(xiàn)狗狗正在吹笛子!
So Old Mother Hubbard went to the cupboard,
于是哈帕老奶奶走到櫥柜前，
To fetch her poor dog a bone.
給她可憐的狗狗取一根骨頭。
But when she got there the cupboard was bare,
可是她發(fā)現(xiàn)櫥柜里什么也沒(méi)有，
And so the poor dog had none.
可憐的狗狗沒(méi)東西吃了。
She went to the baker's to buy him some bread,
她到面包店那兒給他買點(diǎn)面包，
But when she came back he didn't want to be fed.
可是回到家她發(fā)現(xiàn)狗狗一點(diǎn)也不餓。
So Old Mother Hubbard went back to the cupboard,
于是哈帕老奶奶走到櫥柜前，
To fetch her poor dog a bone.
給她可憐的狗狗取一根骨頭。
And when she got there it was no longer bare,
她發(fā)現(xiàn)櫥柜里不再空空如也，
And so she gave her poor dog...a bone!
終于她給可憐的狗狗...一根骨頭!
