A: Oh, would you look at that! There’s another bleeding heart looking for donations. What does she want money for?
B: Looks like she’s collecting for a homeless shelter. You think that’s a bleeding heart, just because she wants to help?
A: Well, if she’s so bighearted, why doesn’t she just work a part time job and donate her pay? You think she makes even minimum wage out there on the corner?
B: Probably not, but her heart’s in the right place.

bleeding heart: 本表達帶有貶義，形容某人不嚴格，過于大方，或過于關注其他人的幸福安康。
donation: 捐款，捐物。
bighearted: 用來形容人心腸好，對于時間或金錢非常慷慨。
one’s heart’s in the right place: 某人的意圖是好的，某人是好意。當某人嘗試做某事失敗或最后證明某事是錯的時候，常用這個表達來表示安慰。
