My Summer Holiday 暑假生活
Last term, I graduated from primary school. It means that I will be a junior school student next term. I am looking forward to my school life in the new school. Likewise, it means that this summer holiday is my last summer holiday in primary school. I want to do something different. Firstly, I do some preview for my junior school study. I want to have a good preparation for the new study tasks. Secondly, I learn to be independent. I learn to cook, so that when my parents go out, they don't have to worry about me. Besides, I try hard to finish my work independently. I hope I can start to handle my own affairs by myself. Through this summer holiday, I do well in this aspect. My Grandfather 我的外公
My grandfather is over sixty. He looks younger than his real age. He was a policeman before his retirement. He has a positive attitude towards his later years of life. He does physical exercises every morning. He can read books without wearing glasses. He is so strong that he is able to lift heavy things by himself.
He loves children very much. Every Monday afternoon he is invited to a nearby school to tell stories to the children about the life and work of the policemen. All the young pupils love him very much.

In the past, people could only go to there by bicycle or on foot. Many buses pass there now, people can take the taxi, car, bus, underground or light rail to Gaochun, and it is faster and easier to get there. The environment has also changed, too. The water is clearer, the tree is greener, and the air is fresher. We are happy to live in the beautiful city.

Belief 信仰
Belief， a creation of human's wisdom， always plays an important role in human's society. As a saying goes：“ If one's mind is full， it won't be filled with any bad idea.” Anyone who has strong beliefs can enjoy a colorful life. Otherwise， he will lose himself in his way of life.
Beliefs are so important that it can change one's fate. Two little mice fell in a bucket of cream. The first mouse quickly gave up and drowned. The second mouse wouldn't quit. He struggled so hard that eventually he churned that cream into butter and crawled out.
Obviously， the latter mouse is the one who has his own beliefs. There are always hopes in his eyes that encourage him to fight， and fight， and fight. He never gives up when he is in some difficulty situations. Because the optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty， while the pessimist sees difficulty in every opportunity. The first mouse is one of these kinds of pessimists. He holds no belief in his life and become the slave of his fate.
Thus，it can be seen that one with firm beliefs is likely to get successful and master his own life.
