通知是上級(jí)對(duì)下級(jí)、組織對(duì)成員或平行單位之間部署工作、傳達(dá)事情或召開(kāi)會(huì)議等所使用的應(yīng)用文。通知的寫(xiě)法有兩種，一種是以布告形式貼出，把事情通知有關(guān)人員，如學(xué)生、觀(guān)眾等，通常不用稱(chēng)呼;另一種是以書(shū)信的形式，發(fā)給有關(guān)人員，此種通知寫(xiě)作形式同普通書(shū)信，只要寫(xiě)明通知的具體內(nèi)容即可。通知要求言簡(jiǎn)意賅、措辭得當(dāng)、時(shí)間及時(shí)。
例一：布告形式的通知：通常此類(lèi)通知上方正中寫(xiě)Notice或NOTICE(通知)，發(fā)出通知的單位的具體名稱(chēng)可放在正文前，也可放在正文后，右下角處，發(fā)出通知的日期寫(xiě)在左下角處。例如：
NOTICE
