2. 引導原因狀語從句 “因為，由于”
3. 引導方式狀語從句 “依照，按照，如，像”
4. 引導讓步狀語從句 “盡管，雖說” 此種用法時從句要倒裝(表語倒裝，謂語倒裝，狀語倒裝)
5. as后跟名詞 (相當于一個時間狀語從句)

6. 和某些動詞連用，構成固定搭配.

7. 用于某些成語
