I plan to study for Ph.D. in Biochemistry at Case Western Reserve University with special interests in metabolism, macromolecular synthesis, and protein crystal growth. I have had plentiful preparations. First, when being an undergraduate in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Tsinghua University, I got very extensive and intensive education. I took many courses on chemistry and the related subjects, and earned high scores for most of them. Second, my major, Polymer, can be put into good use in Biochemistry programs because Polymer is closely related with biological Macromolecule. Third, I have working experience that enriches my theory and laboratory skills.
From 1990 to now, I have been engaged as an Assistant Engineer by the Research institute, Beijing Yanshan Petrochemical Corporation (RIBYPC). In the first year, I was in charge of a 5-litre reactor for polymerization of Carboxylated Butadiene-Styene Latex. Then I was transferred to another research group to synthesize PET/PHB copolymer, a kin of polyester, which has the property of Liquid Crystal. I am the assistant head of the group. We can prepare the novel polymer with high molecule weight and excellent property in a 2-litre stainless steel reactor. During this monomers, with purity of more than 99.99%; this made my leader very satisfied.
More than four years of working experiences expand my capacity. I often make use of NMR, X-ray, DSC and other instrumental methods for research. Among them, I am most skilled in NMR reactors, I have experiences on solving problems of Engineering and Mechanics. What is more, I am familiar with computer operation and some application software. 1、打工須知事項
打工時間：對于在日本的大學院讀本科和在研究生院讀書的正規(guī)生，一周的打工時間在28個小時以內(nèi)，在假期各個學校規(guī)定的打工時間是一天8小時以內(nèi)。日本的旁聽生和聽講生打工的時間在14小時以內(nèi)每周，在寒假和暑假等學校規(guī)定的休假期內(nèi)的打工時間是一天8個小時以內(nèi)，專門學校的學生和就業(yè)生一天的打工時間是4小時以內(nèi)。
時薪：規(guī)定留學生的打工工資一個小時不能低于800日元。在東京的時薪平均是958日元，而京都只有856日元一個小時。在晚上9點之后，不同的店鋪都會提高時薪，因為這個時間段的客流量會要高于平時，而且很多打工的人都必須要回家，會因為勞動力不足而缺人。
簽合同：在面試的時候就要清楚的知道工作的時間、工作日、工資和付工資的時間，一旦要進入到某個店打工的時候，一定要簽勞動合同，不然就不要進去，如果以后出現(xiàn)了什么糾紛的時候勞動合同就成為你的依據(jù)，沒有簽勞動合同的話就不會受到法律的保護。

免稅店：這就需要學生有多種語言了，因為面對的是各個國家的游客，要能夠熟練的和游客介紹商品，并且進行免稅的業(yè)務，通常去到日本的這種店打工的學生還是不多的。
工廠：對學生的日語水平要求不高的就是工廠了，在工廠不需要過多的交流，但是要比其他的工作辛苦很多。
日本留學生活大概費用
一、房租
東京是大部分學生會選擇的城市，而這里也有數(shù)量最多的院校選擇，受到城市發(fā)展水平和物價的影響，在這里的住宿開銷也是的，大家按照這個標準準備，基本上就不需要擔心自己的開銷不夠。
一般學生住的選擇，包括有單人間和多人間，和其他人合租其實會更便宜，大家一個月需要準備好2400-4800元，不顧新入住必須要交禮金，費用是一個月的租金，還需要支付搬家費和清掃費大概1000元左右。
二、餐飲

三、購物

而且買東西也要注意省錢，能夠提前了解商場的折扣活動，這樣可以更好地進行規(guī)劃，花比平時更少的錢，完成自己的購物需求，一定要認真的進行清單的制定。
四、其他
一般學生都是需要買月票的，這是比較劃算的做法，這樣一個月之后的開銷，可以控制在400-600元之間。而且可以通乘公交、地鐵和電車，對于天天都要出行的學生來說是非常劃算的。
大家還會有機會的要求，預算一個月300元左右;手機和寬帶是進行了綁定的，一個月300元左右;租房的開銷中，還會有水電煤氣暖氣等，一個月加起來也需要400元左右。
