一、詞匯書(shū)
許多考生詞匯都不能達(dá)到考試要求,需要一定的托??荚囋~匯準(zhǔn)備。詞匯書(shū)主流的有老俞的《TOEFL詞匯詞根+聯(lián)想記憶法》和張紅巖的《詞以類記》。后者單詞多一些,可以根據(jù)自己的水平選擇一本認(rèn)真背誦即可。

1、主要參考資料
主要參考資料,《官方指南》(OG)是每個(gè)參加新托??荚嚨目忌貍涞?。在托??荚噦淇嫉倪^(guò)程中,要做的第一件事就是認(rèn)真把OG看一遍,這樣才能全面了解整個(gè)考試,掌握新托福出題和評(píng)分思路。
除此之外,《新托??荚噦淇疾呗耘c模擬試題》(即DELTA)對(duì)于多數(shù)考生應(yīng)該都適用。市面上類似的書(shū)很多,這一本相對(duì)較好,認(rèn)真地把它過(guò)一遍對(duì)于考試很有幫助。而后面的4套模擬題,則比真實(shí)考試要來(lái)得簡(jiǎn)單,可以下載BARRON模擬考試軟件,里面有七套題,其中聽(tīng)力和閱讀較有訓(xùn)練價(jià)值。
2、單項(xiàng)訓(xùn)練的資料
閱讀和聽(tīng)力我推薦《高分新托福閱讀120》和《高分新托福聽(tīng)力120》,尤其對(duì)于閱讀和聽(tīng)力底子稍好的同學(xué)??谡Z(yǔ)是中國(guó)考生弱項(xiàng),一般都需要單獨(dú)的訓(xùn)練。翟少成老師的《新托??荚嚳谡Z(yǔ)勝經(jīng)》是同類書(shū)籍中最好的,當(dāng)然更推薦去上他的口語(yǔ)課程。對(duì)于需要在寫作上單獨(dú)下功夫的考生,許軼老師的《挑戰(zhàn)TOEFL .iBT滿分作文》是一個(gè)不錯(cuò)的選擇。
托福閱讀讀題和做題方法
一、托福閱讀讀題的方法
1、花兩三分鐘時(shí)間掃描每篇文章頭一兩個(gè)句子,定位文章難易程度。
雖然平均每篇文章做題時(shí)間為11分鐘,但是有的文章七八分鐘便可以輕松對(duì)付,有的文章則需要15分鐘左右。一般來(lái)說(shuō),5篇文章中有2篇難度大一些,比方說(shuō):如果最后一篇文章難度大,且12-14道題,在這種情況下,按部就班做題就有可能因時(shí)間不夠而做錯(cuò)好幾道題,帶來(lái)巨大的損失。因此首先定位文章難程度,同時(shí)目測(cè)文章的含金量(即題量分布),有助于科學(xué)分配閱讀部分的做題時(shí)間。
2、采取"結(jié)構(gòu)掃描"法閱讀具體的一篇文章。
所謂結(jié)構(gòu),即文章的骨架子。TOEFL文章是純學(xué)術(shù)體(Academic),是北美國(guó)際留學(xué)生在大學(xué)里天天都能接觸到的教科書(shū)風(fēng)格的文章,這些文章涉及人文社科和自然科學(xué),均議論文、說(shuō)明文,最顯著的特點(diǎn)是呈板塊結(jié)構(gòu)。
二、托福閱讀做題的方法
文章大致看完之后,才能開(kāi)始做題。做題時(shí),應(yīng)牢記以下幾點(diǎn):
(1)每篇文章的題目基本上根據(jù)文章布局一步一步向前推進(jìn),即使有個(gè)別題打亂文章布局,在題干里總是有提供信息的關(guān)鍵詞將考生帶入文章的具體部位。
(2)做題時(shí),根據(jù)題干或選項(xiàng)的關(guān)鍵詞回歸文章尋找重現(xiàn)關(guān)鍵詞或其釋義的語(yǔ)言區(qū)域,同時(shí)排除相應(yīng)的選項(xiàng)。
(3)到難句子時(shí),最直接有效的方式就是對(duì)其進(jìn)行句子結(jié)構(gòu)分析,迅速把握整個(gè)句子的意思,不要盯著單個(gè)的詞不放,不然就會(huì)因小失大。
(4)每個(gè)問(wèn)題的四個(gè)選項(xiàng)或者是對(duì)文章中相關(guān)部分的正確釋度、或者是歪曲原文、或者與原文毫不相干。換句話說(shuō),命題專家在設(shè)置試題時(shí)會(huì)玩一些文字游戲,用各種表達(dá)形式讓考生暈頭轉(zhuǎn)向、霧里看花。考生應(yīng)該明白自己的職責(zé)是辨別真?zhèn)?,找到合符文章意思和題意的選項(xiàng)。
托福閱讀如何進(jìn)行精讀訓(xùn)練
1、詞:專門總結(jié)、整理出你文章中不認(rèn)識(shí)的單詞并記憶;我們天津新東方也配備了按照 tpo 文章總結(jié)的詞匯書(shū)供大家使用。
2、句:用word文檔或者是軟件整理出文章中讀不懂的句子,這是長(zhǎng)難句的理解,提高你閱讀速度很重要的一點(diǎn);也可由授課老師指定長(zhǎng)難句材料作為練習(xí)內(nèi)容。
3、段:概括出這個(gè)段落大意。對(duì)于閱讀,這是基本的能力素養(yǎng);對(duì)于考試,這是做對(duì)多選題有很大的提示作用。
4、正確選項(xiàng):分析正確選項(xiàng)為什么對(duì),你要想明白,在原文中畫出答案的依據(jù),在比較選項(xiàng),體會(huì)ETS是如何改寫原文的;
5、錯(cuò)誤選項(xiàng):分析錯(cuò)誤選項(xiàng)為什么錯(cuò),你要想明白,并在word文檔中標(biāo)注選項(xiàng)錯(cuò)誤的地方。
