推薦信的內(nèi)容寫得具體一些還是較為籠統(tǒng)，這也是許多申請(qǐng)人經(jīng)常難以把握的問題。一般來說，越是級(jí)別高的推薦人寫的推薦信越不能太具體，因?yàn)樵跉W美的觀念中，有很高社會(huì)地位的人往往是非常繁忙和社會(huì)交往非常豐富的，這樣的人能為申請(qǐng)者寫推薦信已經(jīng)很說明問題了，如果寫得過于具體，連申請(qǐng)者的一些細(xì)節(jié)的活動(dòng)都留下了深刻的印象，這樣的推薦信顯得太不正常，并不可信。反之，較為接近申請(qǐng)人的推薦人寫的推薦信就可以寫得具體一些。 一封好的推薦信不僅需要出自一位在某一方面了解你的人士之手，而且這封信對(duì)你的評(píng)價(jià)必須要有具體的例子來佐證。許許多多的推薦信都犯著一個(gè)雷同而且是致使的錯(cuò)誤，那就是幾乎每一句話都堆滿了贊美的形容詞或名詞，但卻不舉一件事例來證明。這樣的推薦信是蒼白無力的，它不增加錄取委員會(huì)對(duì)你的任何了解，甚至?xí)屪x者產(chǎn)生疑問：你的教授，你的頂頭上司，為什么不能說出你任何一件具體的成就!

英國留學(xué)新生注意事項(xiàng)
1.行李準(zhǔn)備
購買出國用品，四季的衣物可以適當(dāng)帶一些，但英國的衣服并不是很貴，因此帶夠應(yīng)急所需的衣服就可以了。由于英國天氣多雨，雨傘或防雨服要帶上。最好在帶一雙高邦防雨鞋。另外，帶一個(gè)相對(duì)輕便的小電飯煲，留學(xué)期間做一些米飯調(diào)劑餐食也是不錯(cuò)的。
2.體檢材料
